The City of Sydney street count for 2022 shows 225 people are homeless, sleeping outside. Even in an affluent city like Sydney, people are forced to sleep in temporary and unsafe places.

A fantastic effort was shown last night by students who distributed hot meals and material aid to people experiencing homelessness as part of being program partners with LinkedUp Program.

These young men from Birrong Boys High School prepared these meals in the kitchen before heading out to Sydney’s CBD to distribute a fresh meal, along with fresh fruit and bottled water to the less fortunate members of our society. The goal of this program was to offer young individuals from Southwest Sydney opportunities to develop holistic wellbeing skills, as well as healthy social engagement by giving back to the community.
